Loretta Youngman
Loretta Youngman is an internationally recognized and award-winning artist whose work has been shaped by her life and experiences across the globe. Having lived and taught art at international schools in the Philippines, Taiwan, and Hungary, Loretta draws much of her inspiration from her extensive travels. She holds a degree from Elon University and a master’s degree from the University of the Philippines, both of which have contributed to her deep understanding of art.
Loretta began her artistic journey in realism, where she honed her foundational skills. This experience sparked her curiosity for the innovative techniques found in contemporary art. Today, she is captivated by the use of vibrant colors and unique combinations, allowing her to create with freedom, intuition, and boldness.
Her work has been featured in prestigious venues such as the Salamagundi Club in New York City, where two of her paintings were selected for exhibition. She was also honored with a solo show sponsored by the Coordination Council for North American Affairs in New York City. Loretta's captivating artworks are cherished in galleries and private collections across the United States, Asia, and Europe, reflecting her dynamic and evolving artistic vision.
